The Legionville Educational Center and Summer Camp offers a residential summer safety camp to children ages 9 - 13. It is located on North Long Lake near Brainerd and operates through a partnership with the Minnesota State Patrol. While there are specific classes that certify School Safety Patrol members, kids are not required to be Patrol Guard members to attend. There are also other safety classes and activities such as swimming, fishing, canoeing, first aid, social media, and CPR, to name a few. Fun activities include team tug of war, a talent show, hiking, kickball, gaga ball, and more! Legionville is a great opportunity for kids to learn about safety while enjoying the beautiful MN outdoors and an all-around fun camp. Campers may be sponsored and tuition paid by an American Legion Post, School, other Community Organization, or an individual such as a parent/guardian. Scholarships are also available upon request. We hope to see your child there this summer!
